The Sarojin Khao Lak Community Fund was launched in December 2004 and has benefited a number of communities in the local area, as well as further afield. Projects have included assisting with the recovery of the Pakarang boatyard and restoring local livelihoods; working with Red Cross to support provision for prosthetic limbs; helping to develop new school buildings and children’s play and education equipment; sponsoring a full-time veterinary animal surgeon in Khao Lak; ongoing charity work for local orphanages; and much more.
