Wyndham Hotel Group will continue to invest in the local economy with the recruitment of local companies and contractors to complete refurbishment works set to begin later this year.
Wyndham Sea Pearl Resort Phuket will operate as a mixed-use property for the use of hotel guests and CLUB WYNDHAM ASIA® members. It is the latest addition to the extensive Wyndham Vacation Ownership portfolio, including more than 200 vacation ownership resorts across North and Central America and the South Pacific.
“We are very excited to welcome Wyndham Hotel Group to Phuket, Thailand and we believe the introduction of this rapidly expanding global hotel company is further proof that Thailand has the potential to be the top tourism hub in the Asia region,” said Mrs Kobkarn Wattanavrangkul, Minister of Tourism and Sports.
“We are one of several countries across Asia working to open up more opportunity for international tourism in the region and we are delighted to have such a globally recognised brand like Wyndham join us as we embark on a new era of tourism for the country.”
