Hitachi Zosen gets energy-from-waste order in Rayong Province, Thailand

8 July 2019

Japan’s Hitachi Zosen Corp announced in the past few days a couple of orders for Energy-from-Waste (EfW) plants in China and Thailand.

First, the company said it had secured a contract from Singapore-based Jurong Engineering Limited (JEL) to build and install a stoker type waste incinerator with an output of 9.8 MW as part of a project in Rayong Province, Thailand. Jurong Engineering is building the EfW facility under an engineering, procurement and construction (EPC) with Thai power producer Global Power Synergy PCL, or GPSC.
