The hotel management company, which currently operates two luxury properties in Bangkok and Koh Samui, has announced plans to launch a further three hotels in Thailand over the next 18 months.
Joining the Hansar portfolio in the fourth quarter of this year will be two new boutique hotels – the 24-room Hansar Pranburi, in Thailand’s Gulf coast province of Prachuap Khiri Khan, and the 39-room Hansar Khao Yai, close to Khao Yai National Park in northeast Thailand.
Then before the end of 2014, these will be joined by the Hansar Cha-am, also located on the Gulf coast, which at 104 rooms will become the largest property in the company’s portfolio.
“Hansar is extremely proud to focus our local expansion within Thailand as they feel it has so much to offer in regards to exceptional service, hospitality and absolutely beautiful destinations,” the company said in a statement, adding that the three new properties will all feature “unique, tasteful design features… integrated into the culture and locale of the hotel”.
All three new hotels were recently acquired by Hansar and are being renovated prior to their re-emergence under the Hansar brand. Like the 94-suite Hansar Bangkok and 74-room Hansar Samui, the three new properties will all be independently-owned and -operated.
