Agreement provides planned maintenance for four GE LM6000-P gas turbines
GE’s Distributed Power business has signed a 12-year agreement with Ratchaburi World Cogeneration Co. Ltd. (RWC) of Thailand to provide planned maintenance for four of GE’s LM6000-PD aeroderivative gas turbine packages.
The LM6000-PD aeroderivative gas turbines will be used for combined cycle in the 224 MW power plant, which will generate electricity by using fuel gas.
RWC has a contract to supply power to Thailand’s national grid for 25 years and to supply remaining electricity, approximately 10% of installed capacity, and steam to its direct users located in the Ratchaburi Industrial Estate.
