Hotel Nikko Hai Phong, Japanese-influenced luxury hotel set to open in Vietnam

A 250-room luxury property operated by Nikko Hotels International is due to open its doors in the Vietnamese port city of Hai Phong at the start of August.

The opening date has been set for the launch of Hotel Nikko Hai Phong in Vietnam’s largest port city. We find out more about this highly anticipated new arrival.

The perfect location
Hotel Nikko Hai Phong, which will be operated by Nikko Hotels International, will be able to boast a perfect location for both business and leisure travellers when it opens on 1 August 2020.

Set in the midst of an important international trading gateway close to the city’s key industrial zones and boasting four main multifunctional banquet rooms, the property promises to provide a convenient base for corporate guests. Meanwhile, tourists will doubtless appreciate its proximity to prominent attractions such as Ha Long Bay, Cat Ba Island and Trang An Scenic Landscape Complex.

Cat Bi International Airport and the Ha Noi-Hai Phong Expressway are also nearby, making the hotel accessible to both domestic and international arrivals.

Japanese hospitality in Vietnam
At Hotel Nikko Hai Phong, guests are invited to enjoy hospitality inspired by the Japanese ‘omotenashi’ principle, going beyond simply welcoming and hosting visitors by paying deep attention to every aspect of their stay. The property will feature 250 elegant and spacious rooms overlooking either the peaceful Lach Tray River or the bustling city, incorporating modern amenities such as media hubs, USB chargers and Japanese-style ‘washlet’ WCs.

Lovers of fine food will also find plenty to enjoy onsite. They can choose between Hishou, an authentic Japanese restaurant serving signature tempura made from seasonal ingredients; La Brasserie, cooking up the best Vietnamese and international favourites; and The Lounge, offering tapas, desserts and a variety of beverages.

Last but not least, the expansive outdoor swimming pool and gym will enable guests to keep fit during their travels, and the Japanese-style bath should provide a haven for rest and relaxation after a long day of work or sightseeing.
