W Bangkok has been topped off and construction is on schedule for completion mid 2012.
Bangkok’s most exciting and unique upper upscale hotel has now been topped off and structural work is complete on its 408 rooms and extensive facilities. W Bangkok is owned by North Sathorn Hotel Company Limited, a joint venture between Istithmar World and Golden Land Property Development PLC.
The property will form a major part of Golden Land’s Sathorn Square mixed used development which is centered on the historic landmark Russian Embassy complex, and also included 73,000 sqm Grade A office space.
Golden Land chairman Chris Delaney said he was pleased with the construction progress and to see the building topped off on schedule. “When construction is complete, the entire Sathorn Square and W Bangkok complex will become the city’s new hub, synonymous with success and style.”
