New Centara Chiang Mai Hotel Appeals to Digital Nomads
Centara Hotels & Resorts has revealed that its fifth hotel in the COSI Collection will be in Chiang Mai in Northern Thailand. The newest hotel will be close to Chiang Mai’s Ploen Ruedee Night Market. The property is scheduled to open in 2022.
Chiang Mai is one of Thailand’s popular destinations and has a growing number of Digital Nomads from all categories of online business. Recent studies cited Chiang Mai’s allure for the digital generation due to the city’s low costs, enjoyable food and lifestyle, expatriate social networks and infrastructure for “work-anywhere” online entrepreneurs.
COSI Chiang Mai will have 130 guestrooms, a common social hub, a rooftop swimming pool and a laundromat. The first COSI opened on Thailand’s Samui Island last December. Following this, Centara topped off its second COSI in Pattaya earlier this year and recently revealed additional COSI projects in in Krabi and Vientiane.
